The stormwater best management plan for this steep site involved capturing the runoff from the new drive along a stone swale and trench

drain, outletting to a central rain garden. Permeable pavers not only infiltrate the remaining water runoff, but also create a expansive patio

feeling to the bottom of the driveway. A fieldstone retaining wall helped create the rain garden depression. Below grade infiltration basins

and emergency outfalls store any major storm events not accommodated by the rain garden.
